it lasts all day on my skin and whenever i walk into any place my scent arrives before me, and when i go up to my friends for our little kiss of the morning they say "i recognized you immediately, you smell so good! I was shocked at how little this lasted, I could barely smell it after 5 hours or so and usually my skin holds on to fragrance much longer than that. I have gotten quite a few compliments on this scent, I love how it is sweet yet it's a fresh sweet at the same time. With a heritage dating back to 1935, Lancôme has consistently delivered elegant and timeless scents that capture the essence of sophistication and femininity.

Lancome was founded in France in 1935 by Armand Petitjean, who took inspiration for the name of the brand from the ruins of the Le Chateau de Lancosme castle in the heart of the country. Vanilla and raspberry for sure, but there is also something sugary and caramel-like with this scent. One spritz of Tresor Midnight Rose on the chest does the trick; the smokiness usually cuts through the lighter frags, while amplifying their scents. I don’t get any where near as much sweetness as I do from La Nuit Tresor, and overall it’s just a harsher, colder, less mass appealing scent. This fragrance, launched in 2011, tells the story of two lovers in the beautiful Parisian streets, a story in which she sets the rules, and invites her suitor to play the game of hide and seek to find her before midnight.

I haven't tried Angel Nova yet but I am curious to see for myself if there is any similarity at all to Tresor Midnight Rose. The fragrance opens with the fresh and juicy texture of raspberry and the queen of floral notes, the rose. It reminds me of pine a bit, so I’m enjoying that green note during some Xmas dinners but this one is not for the faint of heart. However, I was recently in Macy's and the Lancome associate wasn't at her post so I was waiting and spraying all their fragrances.

So, while I can't say it doesn't smell good, because it does, it's simply too "normal" and ordinary. This captivating scent combines intense rose and bold blackcurrant notes with vivacious jasmine, peony, and pink pepper, creating a magical bouquet of floral notes. It makes me want to scrub my skin with industrial detergents and burn the clothes that came in contact with that decoction and claw at my face while screaming "WHYYYYYYYY?Longevity is all day, flamboyant but not disgustingly large sillage, perfect if you want to smell good but not kill anyone in the process. Really wanted to like this one as I looked for a raspberry-rose, but the pink pepper is too prominent on me.
