About this deal
Attempt to steal assets from another player: To steal from another player, the active player must show an asset card from their hand that matches the top asset on an opponent’s pile. Once the draw pile is exhausted and everyone has played or discarded all of their cards, the round is over and you add up all of your assets.
The material on this site may not be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, cached or otherwise used, except with the prior written permission of Condé Nast. The game is primarily designed for four to six players but there are good variations for two or three players. It means that the game sets the terms of those interactions and you have a pretty good idea of what to expect.
Once the draw pile is empty, players continue taking turns until everyone has played all cards from their hands. Update: The second printing of the game changed things slightly, so I've made corrections to the player numbers in this post. CARD GAME FOR ALL AGES: Whether you are 7 or 107, Cover Your Assets is quick to learn and fun to play!Be careful though - your top set of assets can be stolen by other players - if they hold a matching card or wild card. Cover Your Assets is a quick-to-learn, quick-to-play card game that does not, I repeat, does NOT have anything to do with sets or runs.
