Having the 4 different light modes adds to the fun. With certain modes suiting certain templates more. The flashing mode was the most annoying and we tended to like white light and rotating flash the best for the templates we used. Parents and Grandparents will remember this Lite-Brite toy no doubt from their own childhoods and love the thought they can share those memories with their kids with the gift of this Stranger Things special edition version. When using the templates you have two options to make them, one you can place the template on the board and push the corresponding coloured peg through the paper and into the hole below to create your design, or as we did, we simply looked at the template and followed it that way, which for some designs is for sure the harder way to go about it, but if your up for the challenge we would say it’s a more fun route to take. Just like their original Wall Art set, the kit allows you to fashion pixelated-style wall art using the outfit’s lightboards and miniature pegs. Except, in this case, they come with colored pegs and step-by-step instructions for putting together displays with a Stranger Things theme, allowing fans of the show to decorate their walls with light-up pixel art straight out of the Netflix show.
While I Am Hell’s Master is one of the first inklings of activity for the show’s fourth season, it is not the only one: Netflix is working in partnership with Fever to bring Stranger Things: The Experience to New York City and San Francisco for immersive activations set in the town of Hawkins starting May 7th. Fever has already held a few pop-up store events, in anticipation for the full extravaganza. Stranger things fans will have noticed in episode seven, several characters use a Lite-Brite toy to communicate with their friends, and now you can get a special edition version of the toy for yourself.
